Knoxville has previously said he is retiring from big stunts after Fooled forever – a decision influenced by the medical opinion of his doctor.
Talk to NME, Knoxville said, “I knew going into this movie that it would be the last time I would do any big stunts because I have kids and I’ve had so many injuries. I feel like I might just walk out in this movie being my last with big stunts. I have nothing more to prove in this area.
When asked if he would be able to stay away from the stunts, Knoxville said: “[Jackass co-creator] Jeff Tremaine is convinced that I cannot. I hope I can but I don’t know.
In NME four star review, Fooled forever is described as “90 minutes of pure joy” with scenes that “could get you genuinely emotional”.
